CruzPro VAH110 Direct Current Analyzer

The VAH110 is a direct current analyzer for reading the boat's battery data with the possibility of monitoring up to 3 battery packs. The instrument displays the voltage of each battery and the charge and discharge current. By applying Peukert's equation he is able to calculate the energy that has been consumed and the remaining energy. It is possible to set high and low voltage alarms and remaining hourly amps. When the alarm is activated by reading values other than those set, the instrument will emit a sound at 85 dB and the display will flash.

The selection of 5 backlight levels allows a correct vision in the dark. All settings, calibrations, alarm values are saved in a non-volatile memory. The instrument is supplied with a 450 Ampere SH-450 shunt for current measurement. All calibrations are carried out from the house, but the user can modify them as needed.

Using the front panel it is also possible to modify the values for the battery voltage, current, charging efficiency, Peukert exponent, battery capacity in Ah, high and low voltage alarms and the minimum value of amperes per hour remaining. With the press of a button it is possible to view the battery voltage (from 9.5 to 33.0 Vdc), charge and discharge current (from -450 to +450 Ampere) the amperes now remaining (from 0 to 3000 Ah) and the percentage of charge remaining in the battery (from 0 to 100%). The VAH110 holds the Nmea 0183 output at 4800 bps for voltage, current and amperes per hour.
