The CruzPro RP30 is a NMEA 0183 repeater with 4 inputs selectable by acting on the front panel and is able to display over 200 Standard or Proprietary instructions. It can be programmed later by the user to repeat new sentences. The format of the new sentences can be downloaded to the "flash" memory of the instrument using a PC with an RS-232 serial port. More than 10 new sentences are programmable and can be overwritten a million times. It has an automatic search system for judgments on all NMEA inputs.
It offers the possibility for the user to adjust the backlight in 5 different levels for better night reading. All settings, calibrations and alarm values are saved in a non-volatile memory. The RP30 can be powered either at 12 or 24 Vdc and absorbs only 0.018 Ampere.
