Autonautic CHE: 140mm compasses for large boats

Autonautic's "CHE" is a series of binnacle-mounted compasses specially designed for large boats

Compass designed for boats with length over 20 meters with motor or sail. The diameter of the Rose, 140 mm, makes reading the data easy and safe. Furthermore, to make the reading of the data even more precise, the degrees are shown on the Rose with an intermediate gradation of 2.5 °.
The compass is designed for installation in a binnacle and is complete with a protective cover with a porthole that allows the compass to be read even after covering it. The compass is available with a black or white case.

INTEGRATED COMPENSATING MAGNETS
Each compass of the CHE series has internal compensating magnets. These magnets allow the compass to be calibrated as it could undergo magnetic deviations due to the presence of steel masses and ferromagnetic materials on board the boat. In any case it is advisable to install the compass away from metal parts, ferromagnetic material and above all away from electronic instruments such as VHF. This is because these instruments produce electromagnetic fields and could cause compass deviations.

All models are equipped with a backlight that can be powered with a voltage of 12-24 Vdc.
